Compuware y SonarSource llevan a DevOps la capacidad de verificar código COBOL testeado en entornos mainframe

En concreto, las métricas de cobertura de código proporcionan información sobre qué cantidad de código fuente ha sido testeado durante una prueba; es decir, qué líneas de código se han ejecutado y cuales no y qué porcentaje de una aplicación ha sido probado. Estas mediciones permiten a los equipos de TI comprender el alcance y la eficacia de sus pruebas a medida que el código evoluciona hacia las fases de producción.

La información capturada es transmitida automáticamente, a través de Compuware Topaz for Total Test, a la herramienta de SonarSourceSonarQube, una popular solución de calidad continua de código utilizada por más de 900 grandes empresas, que aporta a los equipos de DevOps una visión precisa y unificada de las métricas de calidad a lo largo de distintas plataformas.
